Down Memory Lane
I must admit writing this blog post takes me back down memory lane. Back then we lived around the corner fron the Brea Tar Pits. It was a wonderful place to live for a first-time resident of California. Lots of things to do and lots of places to see.
Lucky for me, I got to meet and hang out with some amazing people. We all loved attending events and enjoyed delicious food. So, I got invited to various restaurants as well as home-cooked meal get-togethers.
After years of attending these places, it was time for me to give back. I got to invited my friends to my home and shower then with delicious meals that I, myself prepared. My groups were usually about 10-15 RSVP guests.
I was heavy into exotic dishes, herbs, spices, olive oil, garlic, onions, cilantro and my meats are always marinated overnight (my French influence). One of my friends is a French chef. Also, I must say that my desserts, are always crowd pleasers and seconds were always demanded.
It’s time for me to start my invites once again. I’ve been enjoying way too many dinners and invites. I’m a way better host nowadays, and I look forward to the next chapter of entertaining my friends. Can’t wait.
